Ok, this is fun. The Guillemots Fyfe Dangerfield has gone solo and this first taste of his debut album Fly Yellow Moon is the perfect antidote to this grey and muggy morning. I love the sketchy opening beats, those rasping scratchy vocals and the countless ‘oooooh oooooohs’. Totally infectious stuff.

My first ever Guillemots experience, equally as fun:
I can love you baby til the cows came home
What’s that noise, yeah it’s the cows knocking on our door

It’s just a side thing I think Marcy – apparently the Guillemots started recording their third album back in June. He does have a great voice, I like the raspy scratchiness of it!
