It’s a simple idea, where I post songs that all have one thing in common – the letter that they begin with. Original? Not at all. Pointless? Probably.
Having said that though, every song is highly recommended and should be checked out by your good self immediately!
From Aussie band George comes the perfect track to accompany sitting by the fire on a cold and bitter night as the rain patters down on the old tin roof.
Silverchair – another Aussie group. These guys took off locally when I was in high school and their international profile continues to grow. I really like the direction these guys have taken, and this track is a perfect example of their new sound.
An attention grabbing opener I can see by the look on your face…that you’ve got ring worm is followed by a heartfelt platitude…you’re very lucky to have ringworm…cos you may have had….something else. Touching.
Ring Worm – Van Morrison Removed by request
I don’t know much about these guys, apart from the fact that they’re an indie rock outfit from Chicago and have toured with Wilco, Architecture in Helsinki, Rilo Kiley and Andrew Bird. They’re also responsible for ‘Climbing Up Fire Escapes’, which I posted here and is on regular ipod rotation at the moment.
