I am so in love with this Mates of State cover of Jackson Browne’s ‘These Days’ that marriage might be the only answer.

Ah, I was lucky enough to see them play this at the Benicassim festival (in spain) this year!! Unfortunately the sound wasn’t too great, but it was still quite special! I didn’t know the song was written by Jackson Browne btw, always thought it was Nico’s. That’s the danger of covers I suppose…

Ohh I haven’t seen them but am hoping one day they’ll head back down to Oz. Yes, constant coverage can cause confusion sometimes (what a catchy sentence!), loads of acts have covered ‘These Days’. St Vincent does a lovely version also. Thanks for stopping by, and for your nice comments!
