After two weeks of impatience, speaking to tech guys, testing two new routers and systematically tearing at my follicles, I’m finally back online.
During my absence I have moved house, obviously, watched season 5 of The Office (god I love that show), checked out the new Muse album (it’s awesome, and I’m genuinely surprised at how much I love it), read several books, watched two seasons of CSI, scored tickets to Big Day Out, been to the movies several times and gone running in the mornings around my new neighbourhood.
These are all great things to do and all, but you can’t imagine how much I’m looking forward to downloading music and writing posts and catching up with all my favourite blogs again. I’m less excited about trawling through my inbox though – there are almost 1000 emails there, screaming to be ignored and then read and then deleted.
It’s a bloody good thing I have the next two days off isn’t it? Thank god for part time work…

Howdy my dear! Glad you are all settled and back online. Sounds like the new situation is pleasant. The Baby Angel is harassing me to go to the Big Day Out. What do you think? She is only 14. I would go too I think. We may not be able to afford it anyway. What’s your advice?

Good to see you made it through the Australian ISP wringer. Season 5 of the Office is fantastic, isn’t it? Who’s at Big Day Out this year? I think that we’re headed to Womadelaide because we are old and have young kids. Sigh.

Ariza – I reckon she’d be ok but you’d probably want to go with her! I’ve never been before but my friends go every year and they tell me it’s pretty damn awesome. You’d wanna move fast on tickets, though I don’t think Adelaide has sold out yet.
AFM – The Office is awesome, I’m already hanging out for season 6. It’s just hilarious. Dwight’s my favourite – I even have a Dwight bobblehead that my sister gave me last year.
The BDO lineup is pretty good this year, and I think they’ll have more to announce closer to the day. Headliners are Muse and Powderfinger, Lily Allen’s on the list and I’m lookig forward to checking out Girl Talk, The Decemberists and The Temper Trap. I plan a BDO out post some time this week so I can give you a more comprehensive list then!

Well that solves that problem then! At least for this year…
