Today I began the slow and tedious process of sifting through the debris of my woefully neglected inbox. There’s a lot of crap in there to be honest, but every now and then I do come across something that does catch my interest.
I’d never heard of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros before today, but this video below of a recent performance of ’40 Day Dream’ makes me think that they’d be a damn fun band to see live. Though the stage is packed full of people and instruments they still manage to get a surprising amount of movement happening. Great energetic sound too.

40 Day Dream – Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
These guys remind me of the kind of bands we saw in the 70s when I was at Uni. ahhhh good times.
Yeah they do have a distinctly 70′s feel don’t they?
I’m almost certain this one is in my inbox as well. God, I would love to clean mine out.
Don’t worry, I barely scratched the surface!
