Good life, have you lot heard these new songs from The National yet?
‘England’ is lovely, but check out the guitar solo on ‘Vanderlylle’… every time it kicks in I find myself shaking my head in disbelief at the sheer beauty of the timing and the yearning of the sound. Gorgeous, gorgeous stuff.

i love their song “so far around the bend” off the dark was the night compilation cd. it’s got me wanting more.

Marcy – That’s a top track too – if these three tracks are anything to go by, we’re in for a treat. I’ve heard the new album won’t be out til next year, though I can’t remember where I heard it. Let’s hope so. Though this year would be even better…
