I love shuffle. I also love being able to listen to music on my laptop again. My old one used to shat itself even when all I’d done was turn the damn thing on. Today I had to tackle the mammoth task of cleaning up my room – I’m not exactly what you’d describe as tidy – and as always, listening to some tunes made it a hell of a lot more enjoyable.

The only Mates of State that I have is the latest, one that I absolutely love, so I was thrilled to check out some older stuff!

Excellent! Their older stuff is less polished than ‘Re-Arrange Us’, but all the ingredients are still there, the harmonies and that effervescent pop energy. Glad you enjoy!
