What a way to kick off a career. First time I heard this song I wondered what on earth had possessed the woman. Now, I just think it’s brilliant. The imagery, the wildness in her voice, the crazy desperate shrieking. Awesome.

Actually, grungepoppers China Drum did a really storming cover version back in the 90s, though it is odd hearing a bloke singing “It’s meee, Catheee…”
