I really want to do a proper feature on DeVotchKa but I’m tired and the chances are that you already know plenty about them anyway. I will say that, while I’m a relative newcomer to the wonders of DeVotchKa, I bloody love them and am keen to find out more. I’ve been trying to pick up a CD copy of A Mad And Faithful Telling but I haven’t found one at any of my local record stores - maybe it’s not out in Australia yet. I would google it and find out, but I’m feeling way too slack. The few tracks I do have include ‘Blessing In Disguise’ and oh my lordy, what an absolute cracker of a tune it is. Beautiful.
