An Australian swan, devastated by the disappearance of her mate from Germany’s Muenster zoo, is to be reunited with her favourite swan-shaped pedal boat to help overcome her heartbreak. She used to circle it and make crooning noises.
Dead Letter Office*
A French teen who wrote a letter to her late mother in heaven had it returned with a demand for postal costs. The 13-year-old girl addressed the unstamped letter to Paradise Street, Heaven, but it was returned marked “unknown at this address” with a bill for 1.35 euros.
*It had to be done.
